Elements of Yule

As Yule approaches and I prepare for hordes of Mordor to descended for our annual Yule celebrations. I wanted to dress my table with appropriate pagan decor (well who wouldn't!), but like most other times I could not find anything which added a natural warmth to my home and hearth.

Altar is simply the Latin name for table; however, many of us see the Altar as our place of magikal working, and many forget that the kitchen table is a natural gathering place where the bounty of the Great Mother is shared among friends and family in one of the longest standing ritual traditions.

With this in mind I set myself the task of making tableware for the festivals and seasons. Something which harmonises with the essence of the celebration and brings the table to life.

Throughout the wheel of the year this promises to be a welcomed addition to our home and hearth section offering tributes to the Gifts of the Goddess and the efforts of the Kitchen witch Those little touches around the home that make it magikal for all of us.

So I am delighted to bring to you my first little creation which honours the holly King of Yule, but something that would also not look out of place should the non-pagans (muggles) come to visit!

A beautiful holly cluster in each corner The long sides of the tablecloth are decorated with an different yet complimentary design The centre of the cloth is decorated with a grouping of holly in a lovely symmetrical pattern

This is a rectangular cloth laid over a round table which gives a lovely arched drape effect.

This cloth is made from 100% natural linen and has a very subtle flecked effect which unfortunately do not show in the photographs.

Cloths are rectangular in shape, a wonderful 60" wide and are available in lengths of 4ft, 5ft, 6ft and 7ft as standard (please note these are the actual sizes of the cloth not the table if you have a 6ft table and want the cloth to drape over the ends order a larger size) Sizes smaller and larger are also available on request so please email me.

Also available with this tablecloth are sets of matching napkins.

If you have another design or idea in mind please email me and I will be happy to create you whatever you desire.
